Zalando

In collaboration with PCH Innovations we created Zalando’s very first iOS and Android apps and launched the company into the App Store.
Amongst the common shopping app features we implemented a barcode scanner that users could employ to easily check Zalando for cheaper prices of a certain product while shopping at a local store. Another exclusive component we added was the “Styleshaker” – a device accelerometer activated product combinator that would utilise server-side Machine Learning to present the user with a 5-item shoppable “style” of matching outfit components.
Being one of the first native shopping apps our app was a huge success and had over 1 millions downloads in its first month.
